Clive Snell, Managing Director

Clive is an entrepreneur and proven chief executive with over 20 years’ experience in media organisations. While a director at VNU Business Publications he ran some of the most successful business to business IT publications. As Managing Director of Learned Information (Europe) Ltd he ran the Online Information conference and exhibition.

Clive then set up Bizmedia – a multi channel specialist B2B media company. This business had particular success in the emerging e-learning market developing online and offline media and a celebrated Awards scheme (The E-learning Awards) and ultimately executing a successful sale to Closer Still Media at the end of 2014.

Clive’s experience includes corporate business development, start ups, licencing, international and consulting experience. Clive has a deep understanding of business to business cross media product development coupled with extensive knowledge of the Information, IT and learning marketplaces.

Philip Ditchfield, Non-Executive Director

Philip has over 20 years’ experience in the UK and overseas working for STM publishers including Thomson Reuters, Wiley and Springer in various sales management roles. He has also worked on the buying side – including 7 years at GlaxoSmithKline, where he was responsible for global content acquisition and more recently negotiating content licenses on behalf of global corporations including Amgen and Nestle.

He has negotiated countless information licenses across most industry verticals and also with academic consortia and governments – generating £ millions in new business. Philip has represented the pharma industry in the British Parliament and has been a member of numerous publisher advisory boards, licensing committees and presented on licensing, copyright and business development. Philip has a unique perspective of the information market gained from both selling and buying STM content. He launched London Info International in 2014 to bring these two groups together: buyers and sellers of information.

Chris Satchwill, Financial Director

Chris has over 20 years’ experience in B2B media, across a range of delivery channels, in senior finance roles such as FD and CFO. He has worked for both large international businesses, such as Reed Elsevier and UBM, as well as smaller entrepreneurial private equity-backed businesses, such as Quantum Business Media and Nexus Business Media.
Chris has a significant amount of experience in business turnaround and rationalisation projects, identifying where the true value is and developing it to create shareholder value. He also has a lot of M&A expertise, right down to the practicalities of executing the transaction within the business. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and is a BSc graduate from London University.

Bob Hudson, Operations Director

Bob has been an events’ professional for nearly thirty years, organising major events in nearly twenty countries from Iceland to Hong Kong. Being a Director and manager for internationally renowned exhibitions such as: MacWorld Expo in San Fransisco, the Chelsea Flower Show in London and the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Bob has a thorough understanding of the operational aspects required to achieve a successful event for major brands and markets.
